• Lake Nakuru National Park is a world-class bird-watching safari destination and fondly referred to as the bird watchers paradise The Park has more black and white rhinos. There are also a number of Rothschild’s giraffe, Waterbuck, lion, cheetah and leopard. The park also has large sized pythons as well as flamingos.
• A freshwater lake about an hour and a half north of Nairobi, Lake Naivasha is known for its yellow-barked acacia trees, an abundance of hippo, and over 400 species of birds including pelican, flamingoes, heron, egret, and kingfisher. Skirted by grassy banks, the rich flora around this sparkling blue lake attracts giraffe, zebra, buffalo, antelope, warthog, and monkey who come here to graze.
